Marc Anthony Reyes, 63, of White Oak, Georgia, passed away at the Mayo Clinic on April 27, 2026. He was born May 22, 1962, in Heidelberg, Germany to the late Gilberto Gustafo Reyes and Nancy Claire Stroud Reyes.
Marc was a man whose life was defined by service, as he gave 26 years of his life to the United States Military. He was a proud member of the military where he served for 6 years in the Army and then spent another 20 years in the Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle in Callahan, Florida. Marc was a loving husband to his wife Pamela, a loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, especially when it came to riding the grandchildren on the four-wheeler. He was an avid outdoorsman, as you could always find him hunting or fishing. He was a man of character who had many cherished friends and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife: Roxanne Reyes; brother: Andrew Reyes; niece: Christy Rockwood.
He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years: Pamela Reyes of White Oak, GA; his children: Jessica (Yasmany) Paucar of Norfolk, VA, Samantha Degarmo of Woodbine, GA, Allison Reyes of Bloomfield, IN, Taylor (Jayson) Crews of Folkston, GA, Zachary (Daysi) West of Brunswick, GA, and Haley Lester of White Oak, GA; sister: Jennifer Gilstrap of Hinesville, GA; brother: Scott (Ashley) Reyes of St. Augustine, FL; two brothers-in-law: Brad (Amy) Taylor of Kingsland, GA and Chad (Nikki) Taylor of Waverly, GA; sister-in-law: Amanda Taylor of Kingsland, GA; several close friends: Becky Durden of Hinesville, GA, Rick Dobbs of Youngstown, FL, Eric Benoit of Chesapeake, VA, Jennifer and Ernie Haskins of Tennessee, Polly Hendrix of Jesup, GA, Marcia Love of Fernandina Beach, FL, Pastor Steven and Ashley Peck of Callahan, FL and Terry Thrift of Whtie Oak, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
