Mary Darlene Love

Mary “Darlene” Love (Aldridge) passed from this life on January 5, 2024 peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones.

She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Owens (Terry) of Valdosta GA, Emily Moore of Plant City FL, Brandy Bateman (Johnny) of Talking Rock GA, Charles Aldridge (Mary) of Nashville GA. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlotte Ann Davis Aldridge and Felton Aldridge, her two sisters, Cathy Gentry and Gina Puckett as well as her oldest son Clarence H. Moore III.

Darlene was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles and other family.

Darlene was born on August 23, 1958 to Felton and Charlotte Aldridge. During her lifespan Darlene worked as a certified nursing assistant, she was a non-emergent transporter, a stay at home mom for some years and then became a carrier for the Valdosta Daily Times.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Sardis Cemetery on January 10, 2024 at 3pm. Shepherd- Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA will be overseeing arrangements.
