Mary Elizabeth Nazworth

Mary “Betty” Nazworth, age 69, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, following a lengthy illness. Betty was born in Charlton County and was preceded in death by both parents, Dean Snowden and Mary Carroll Geoghagan. 

She leaves behind a loving family: sons, Tony (Shauna) Nazworth and Herman (Dorene) Nazworth: grandchildren, Lexi (John) Pollard, Beau, Sopia, and Lucy Nazworth: sisters, Hazel (John) Harris and Barbara Lee: brother, Jim (Heather) Snowden: best friend, Angie Dunkin, along with many loved and cherished relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with Pastor John Boatright officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service in the chapel.
