Melanie Marie Crawford

Melanie Marie Crawford of St. George, Georgia passed away October 3, 2025. Melanie was born on August 9, 1949, in Folkston, GA to the late John and Laura Crawford. She was the owner of a beauty salon, “Beautiful Reflections” in Jacksonville, FL for many years. She also enjoyed a career with Liberty National Insurance Company.

She is predeceased by her parents, a brother, Johnny Crawford, sisters, Michelle Odum and Neva Arrington, and son-in-law, Jeff Tipton.

She is survived by her children; daughter, Melissa Tipton: grandsons; David (Stacy) Tipton and Daniel Tipton: son; Dennis (Michelle) Peterson: grandchildren; Josie, Sarah, Mackenzie (Jesse), Ethan, and Cooper: a brother; Noel (Angie) Crawford: sisters; Sue Ann (Randy) Crawford and Carol Yeomans: and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Cemetery in St. George, GA with Wyatt Kirton officiating.
