Meryl Lloyd

Gloria Meryl Hannaford Lloyd, 80, of Homeland, GA passed away February 11, 2017 at her residence.  She was born December 12 , 1936 in Folkston, GA to the late J.O. Hannaford, Sr. and Thelma Gowen Hannaford.  She retired from Gilman Paper Company Bag Plant.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Folkston.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant child:  Baby Anderson; 2-brothers:  Maurice Hannaford of Folkston, GA and George Leonard Hannaford of Woodbine, GA.
She is survived by her husband:  Glynn R. Lloyd, Sr.; a daughter:  Teresa A. Guinn (Harry); 4-Step-Children:  Ricky Lloyd (Angie), Johnny Lloyd (Joann) Lloyd, Ronnie Lloyd & Brenda Brannon (Larry); Brother:  J.O. Hannaford, Jr. (Jacki); 11-Grandchildren:  Dena Bawkin, Tracy Guinn, AJ Lloyd, Eric Lloyd, Brian Lloyd, Michael Lloyd, Gabriel Lloyd, Timothy Lloyd, Jared Lloyd, Melissa Graham and Johnna Taylor; 25-Great Grandchildren and a number of Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 12 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Folkston with Rev. Gene McCullough and Dr. Randy Jacoby officiating.  Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
