Michael Lee Nettles

Michael Lee Nettles, 70, of Folkston, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on August 24, 1953, to the late Arthur J. Nettles and Dorothy L. Prescott Nettles. Michael was a member of the NRA. He loved guns, hunting, fishing, farming, and most of all his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother; Donald Arthur Nettles.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years; Barbara Elaine Burch Nettles, 3-children; Stephanie (Charles) Maine, Brian (Brittany) Nettles, and Jonathan Nettles, 3-grandchildren; Michael Dylan Griffin, Alana Elaine Griffin, and Addison Leigh Nettles, and a sister; Carleen N. (Bill) Finegan; also numerous nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Sardis Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
