Michael Anthony Taylor

Michael Anthony Taylor, 61, of Folkston, GA passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 7, 1962 in Folkston, GA. Michael was an avid outdoorsman in which he loved to hunt and fish. He was also a very active member of the American Legion Post 401 in Hilliard, FL.

He is preceded in death by his father: Glenn Taylor; his daughter: Ashley Taylor Guinn; and his brother-in-law: Walter E. Clifford.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Michael M. (Victoria) Taylor; his mother and step-father: Joan (John) Dixon; his sister and brother-in-law: Sandy (Rob) Calvert; his granddaughters: Kayla Rivera and Cheyenne Rivera; his grandsons: Parker Taylor and William Taylor; his niece and nephew-in-law: Aubrey (Phil) Griffith; his nephew and niece-in-law: Brandon (Jessica) Clifford; his great-nephew: Ryland Clifford and his great-nieces: Kinsley Clifford and Evelyn Griffith.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Alderman officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorialization will be by cremation. Burial will take place at a later date at Camp Pinckney Cemetery.
