Mildred "Milly" Dainty

Mildred Mary “Milly” Chapman Dainty, 96, passed away April 5, 2017.  She was born December 15, 1920 in Old Saybrook, Connecticut to the late Charles P. Chapman and Annie Howland Chapman.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society of Glastonbury, CT.  She was a prolific writer for the Goliad, TX Gazette and played piano and sang professionally for 20 years.  She volunteered with Feline Rescue Service, Charlton Memorial Hospital, Charlton Library, and the Charlton County Courthouse.
She was preceded in death by her husband:  Jack Dainty.
She is survived by her daughter:  M.J. Phillips and a granddaughter:  Taryn Rogers Haney.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
