Nancy Jo Jones

Nancy Jo Jones, 76, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on April 13, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida, Nancy lived a life rooted in devotion—to her family, her faith, and the quiet strength that carried her through every season of life. She was a woman of deep love and steady presence, someone who made others feel safe, seen, and cared for simply by being near her.

Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Christopher Todd Jones (Paige), Patrick Scott Jones (Kristy), and Jennifer Jo Webb (Gary).

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Jake; Joanna (Jeffery); Silas; Bryce (Allison); Lindsey; Erica; Tamryn (Timothy); Evan; Dylon (Morgan); Hayden; Emma; Kaden; Liam; Kash; and Elleigh Mae.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Tymber, Jeffery Scott, Josie, Timothy Archer, Waylon, Luke, Christopher, Vaughn, and Brynleigh.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Ronald “Ronnie” Jones; her father, Robert Horace Simmons; her mother, Colleen Annie Barnard Swain; and her brother, Walter Laverne Simmons.

Nancy’s life was not defined by grand gestures, but by the countless quiet ones—her kindness, her resilience, and her unwavering love. She had a gentle elegance, a tenacious spirit and a strength that didn’t need to be loud to be known. To those who knew her best, she was home.

Her passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her love remains woven into the lives of all who knew her. It lives on in memories, in traditions, and in the way her family continues to love one another.

A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 526 Oakwood Street, Folkston, Georgia. The family will receive visitors beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home immediately preceding the memorial service.
