Noah "Red" Kirkland

December 26, 1939 — November 18, 2022

 

Noah "Red" Kirkland of Hilliard, FL entered heaven's gate on November 18th, 2022 surrounded by his family at St. Vincent's Hospital. Red was a devoted man of God and active and faithful member of St. George Church

of God. He was known in the community for his kindness and dedication to family, friends, and church. His favorite hobbies were fishing and being a fisher of men for God. Red was always found in the garden, on the water or

riverbank, or with his grandkids playing on the floor. His heart was not ready to leave us, but his spirit was Heaven bound.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Carolyn Kirkland of 61 years, daughter Linda Gail Kirkland-Gay, sisters, Sarah Harper and Ruby Burch, brothers, Buck Kirkland, James Henry Kirkland,

Daniel Kirkland, George Kirkland and Ed Kirkland.

 

He is survived by his daughters Pam Snider (Ralph), and Brenda Brantley (David), and grandchildren Casey Jones (Carmen), Nikki Brooks (Brad), Michelle Harter (Pat), Daniel Sofge (Ashley), Harlee Thomas (Alex), Alec

Quintavalle, 15 great grandchildren, two sisters Eva Pullen and Penny Jones, and numerous of other relatives.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Monday, November 21, 2022 at St. George Church of God. A service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at St. George Church of God with Pastor Grady Albritton and Pastor Carol Lee officiating. Burial will follow at River Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
