Paul Ashley Ellis

Paul Ashley Ellis, 52, of Folkston, GA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 27, 2023. He was born in Charleston, SC on October 20, 1970. Paul loved to fish and be outdoors.  He loved playing video games with his friend, Chris Hall.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Zadie Elma Brown Ellis and George Clarence Ellis, Sr., father-in-law; Larry Rubin Hogan, Sr., nephew; Robert Ray Howard, III, and 2-aunts; Trudie Huff and Brenda Ellis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years; Patricia Hogan Ellis, 2-daughters; Ashley Ellis (Gary) DiAngelo, and Jessica Renee Ellis, 2-brothers-in-law; Larry Hogan (Sherry), Jr., and Jody (Tina) Slaten, sister-in-law; Jennifer Hogan, step-dad:  Ray Hoggard; brothers:  Bobby Hoggard (Elizabeth), Jeff Hoggard (Ebony); sister:  Cynthia Keelin; niece; Taylor Hogan, uncle and aunt; George and Dottie Ellis, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Jerry and Theresa Slaten, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives that loved and adored him. Paul and Patricia were also anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first grandchild due in January of 2024.

A viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
