Jerome King

Mr. Jerome King, 84, of Folkston, GA passed away Saturday, May 25 in Fernandina Beach, FL following a lengthy illness.  He was born February 2, 1940 to the late Preston King and Ina Mae King.  Mr. Jerome was a member of the Homeland Church of God of Prophecy.  He and his wife, Lillian, were owner/operators of Quick Chic in Folkston since 1976.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife:  Lillian Thrift King; a son:  Bobby King; a brother:  Ronald King and a sister:  Shirley Lee.

Mr. Jerome is survived by his children:  Toni (Eddie) Dennis, Preston (Shawna) King, Timmy (Cathy) King, and Paul (Charlotte) King; 10-grandchildren and 23-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Seth Parris officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
