Rachel Louise Ray Kicklighter, 64, of St. George, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. She was born in Folkston, Georgia on December 22, 1958 to the late Cleaton Ray and Helen Bryant Ray. Rachel was a member of Dinsmore Church of God where she served faithfully as adult Sunday school teacher and church treasurer.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2-sisters; Bertha Booth and Sue Rhoden.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years; Donald Earl Kicklighter, 3-children; Wendy Michelle Kicklighter, Chris (Amanda) Kicklighter, and Amanda (Timothy) Johns, 3-sisters; Sarah Team, Donnie Howard, and Fay Hand, 8-grandchildren; Rachel Canaday, Ashley Canaday, Abby Canaday, Shane Canaday, Christian Burrier, Taylor (Cody) Cowart, Dillon (Stevie) Johns, and Kristan Johns, and 6-great-grandchildren; Kameron Cook, Cali Cook, Ledger Cook, Aaliyah Canaday, Hazel Canaday, and Cason Cook.

A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Dinsmore Church of God with Pastor Matt Griffis, Sister Sarah Team, and Pastor Robbie Salyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. George Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
