Ray Bryant

Ray Donald Bryant, 67, of Folkston, GA passed away September 9, 2021 in St. Marys, GA.  He was born April 3, 1954 to the late John Elbert Bryant and Ethel Taylor Bryant.  He was a graduate of the 1972 class of Charlton County High School and played football wearing #25.  He proudly served his country n the US Army and worked for the US Postal Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters:  Louise Bryant Wainwright and Gloria Bryant Warren and a brother:  George E. Bryant.

He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law:  Cory & April Bryant; 4-grandchildren:  Colby Bryant, Chloe Bryant, Kolt Bryant and Kennedy Slaughter; sister & brother-in-law:  Darlene & Mickey Cason; a brother:  Glen Bryant and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 16 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17 at 10:00 AM at the Traders Hill Methodist Chapel on Tracey’s Ferry Road in Folkston, GA.  Burial will be in Trader’s Hill Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19, the family would like to ask all attendees to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service.  Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
