Rita Jessie

Rita Earline Strader Jessie, 71, of Folkston, GA passed away October 29, 2017 at Acosta-Rua Center for Caring in Jacksonville FL.  She was born in New Harmony, Indiana to the late Gordon Lee Strader and Eugenia Mae Bosaw Strader.  She served in the United States Army.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her 3 brothers: Gordon Strader, Bill Strader, and Terry Strader;  a great granddaughter Star Lee.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years:  Marvin Jessie; 4-children: Lori (Corey) French, Michael Jessie, Christopher (Karen) Jessie, and Kimberly Jernigan;  13-Grandchildren and 9-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Homeland Cemetery in Homeland, GA.
