Robert James Hallett, 83, of Folkston, Georgia passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026. He was born in Corning, New York on February 10, 1943, to the late Harry Hallett and Louise Wood Hallett. Robert retired from the United States Navy after 28 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: James Robert Hallett; sisters: Norma Hallett and Barbara Hallett; and brothers: Harry Hallett and Richard Hallett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Mary Sharon Hallett; sons: Robert Edward Hallett and David Robert Hallett (Robin); grandsons: Alexander Hallett (Martha), Matthew Hallett, and Lucas Hallett; sister: Virginia House; and brother: William House.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors.
