Robert Franklin Marr Jr.

Robert Franklin Marr Jr., 75, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the Southeast Georgia Health System-Camden Campus. He was born November 19, 1948 to the late Robert Marr Sr. and Cindy Benford Marr. He served our country in United State Marine Corp. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son: Robert Marr III; his sister: Joan Edwards; his dog who was a big part of his life Shortie Marr. 

He is survived by his son: Joshua Anthony (Shannon) Williams; 8 grandchildren: Zachery Marr, Stephen Andrew (Jada) Marr, Jacob Marr, Jonah Marr, Jaice Williams, Jade Williams, Tristen Williams, and Aviana Williams; 2 great-grandchildren: Solomae Marr and Jonny Marr; and 1 sister: Patricia Fay Palmer. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 10:00am at the Marr Family Cemetery, 21335 Hwy 40 W, Folkston, GA 31537. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
