Rusty Hicks, 55, of Homeland, GA passed away September 30, 2021 in Jacksonville, FL.  He was born November 20, 1965 in Fernandina Beach, FL to the late Kellon D. Hicks and Linda Crews Hicks.

He is survived by his children:  Josh (La’Ena) Burnsed, Derek (Keri) King, Hannah King, Hunter Hicks and Bethany (Nolan) Crawford; a brother:  Kenneth (Kissy) Hicks; grandchildren:  Leland Burnsed, Khalil Johnson, Kanan Johnson, Indy King and Carter Crawford and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 8 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, October 9 at 3:00 PM in Boones Creek Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19, the family would like to ask all attendees to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service.  Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
