Sam Todd

Sam Todd, 72, of Folkston, GA passed away October 17, 2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Hoboken, GA to the late Dexter Todd and Lula Mae Walker Todd.  He proudly served his country in the US Army.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his 3 sisters: Maudine Medders, Doris Williams, Lou Mae Strickland; a granddaughter:  Janie Drury and a great grandson:  J.T. Rogers.
He is survived by his companion of 34 years:   Carolyn Drury; 5-children:  Samuel Todd, Sandra Meeks, Diane Edwards, Lee Drury, and Susan Speelman; a brother:  John Todd; 3-sisters:  Shirley Sunberg, Martha Hendrix and Mary Lou White; 16-grandchildren and 36-great grandchildren
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 18 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 19 at 11:00 AM at Sand Hill Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Racepond Cemetery at Sand Hill Baptist Church.
