Samuel Genon Carter

Samuel Genon Carter, 53, of St. George, GA passed away at his home Saturday, July 5, 2025. He was born June 24, 1972 in Jacksonville, Florida. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

He is preceded in death by his son: Brandon Carter and his mother: Sheila Carroll (Jimmy) Thomas.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Dawn Carter; his father: Raymond Carter; daughter: Crystal (Josh Ward) Clarke; grandchildren: Lyndsey Gaskin, Nolan Ward and Zayden Horn; sisters: Maria Bocanegra, Stephanie Brown and Jess Thomas; brother: Josh Thomas; nieces: Bella Dasher (Jeremy Chappell), Amber Colbert, Brooke Hess, Taylor Smith, Amanda Smith, Brea Smith, Miranda McDonald and Amy Fennell; nephews: Tyler Smith and Johnathan McDonald; uncles and aunts: Russell & Teenie Dasher and Bruce & Lynn Carroll; and his beloved furbabies: Heaven, Harley and Clayton.

Memorialization will be by cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
