Sandra Gail Wright Edenfield

May 19, 1963 — March 15, 2023

I wish for Grace for you today

For peace to carry you along the way

For love to remind you that I am near

For mercy to help you through the fears

For comfort to draw you near the cross

For Jesus to hold you when you’re feeling lost

Sandy Edenfield, 59, stepped from this world into the presence of Jesus on March 15, 2023. She was born on May 19, 1963 in Jacksonville, Fla.  She was a long time resident of Folkston, Ga and a member of Little Phoebe Primitive Baptist Church.

Sandy’s homecoming celebration will be held at Shepard’s Funeral Home in Folkston, Ga

Viewing will be on Sunday March 19, 2023 from 6-8pm

Services on Monday March 20, 2023 at 11:00am

Graveside services will be at Little Phoebe Cemetery immediately following service.

Sandy was a wife of 35 years to her best friend and husband Elder Floyd Edenfield. A mother to Brandi (Casey) Chriswell and Brandon (Destiny) Pooser and Sugar her 4 legged fur baby. A grandmother to 4 wonderful grandchildren Madison, Mason, Emmie, and Myles. A sister to Debbie Platts, Doug Wright and Frances Herrera. Many family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends loved Sandy. Each of them will feel the heartache of her passing in the days ahead.

Standing with Jesus to welcome her home were her parents Charlie and Emmie Wright and parents in love Zelton and Sue Dixon.

If she could speak to us to day she would tell of the wondrous beauty of heaven and tell us all to wipe our tears and cry not for her. With every drop of rain and ray of sunshine to close our eyes and feel her near. For she will never be more than a heartbeat away. She would thank Elders Kyle Lloyd, Willis Lee, and Randy Strickland for leading the celebration of her homecoming with Jesus.

The pallbearers for her services are Cody Dixon, Kevin Wright, Hal Gowen, Justin King, Richard Lafferty and Brian Edenfield.

The family gladly welcomes each of you to join them after the services at the home of Jamie and Becky Dixon at 797 Walnut St. in Folkston, Ga.

Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest registry at  Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home, 526 Oakwood Street, Folkston, GA 31537.
