Shawn Raymond Matthews

Shawn Raymond Matthews, age 46, of Kingsland, GA passed away at Savannah Memorial Hospital on May 9, 2024. He was born on September 15, 1977, in Annapolis, Maryland to the late Albert Amasa Matthews. He was a Christian, Son, Dad, and Grand-Dad who loved spending time with his family dearly, especially his brother, Jason Matthews. He loved his PlayStation and his best friends, Jeremiah C., Josh, Amiee Douglas, and Matt Douglas.

He is preceded in death by his father; Albert Amasa Matthews, grandparents; Amasa Matthews, Nina Powley Brunson, Oscar Densmore, and Doris Roach Scheeler, step-grandfather; Louis Scheeler, and uncle; Gary Densmore.

He is survived by his loving mother; Deborah Densmore Matthews, brother; Jason Matthews, daughter; Brianna Dowling, granddaughter; Mckinlie Dowling, nephew; Daltan Floyd, uncle; David Densmore, and aunt; Susan Henderson.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
