Shirley Louise Raynard

Shirley Louise Raynard, 70, of Folkston, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Columbus, OH to the late James Harrison Ellis and Janet Louise Ellis. Shirley retired from working in HR at GEO. She volunteered at the Raven’s Food Bank Ministry in Camden County. She loved her animals and loved to go outside and tend to her garden and flowers. Shirley loved helping people and she truly loved her friends. She enjoyed taking cruises and going to the beach. She was so proud of her great-grandson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2-brothers; Jerry Ellis and Mick Ellis.

She is survived by her son: Mike (Summer) Raynard; her granddaughter: Victoria (Brandon) Raynard; her great-grandson who she loved dearly: Zackery Uhrich; her sister: Pat Ellis; 3-brothers: John Ellis, Dan Ellis, Tom Ellis.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Ravens of Elijah Food Ministries, Inc. located at 130-1 Scrubby Bluff Road, Kingsland, GA 31537. Lunch immediately after the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorialization will be by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ravens of Elijah Food Ministries, Inc.
