Stephanie Denise Burnsed Hicks, 49, of Homeland, GA passed away September 14, 2021 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born August 29, 1972. She was a graduate of Charlton County High School Class of 1990. She was currently a Corrections Officer with the Charlton County Sheriff’s Office.
She was preceded in death by her father: John Wesley Burnsed and a sister: Jeanine Conner.
She is survived by her husband: Rusty Hicks; her children: Josh Burnsed (La’Ena), Derek King (Keri), Hannah King, Hunter Hicks and Bethany Crawford (Nolan); her mother: Suzanne Crews Burnsed; a sister: Missy Sharpe (Bill); a brother: Tim Burnsed; her precious grandbabies: Leland Burnsed, Khalil Johnson, Kanan Johnson, Indy King and Carter Crawford.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 24 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, September 25 at 3:00 PM at Boones Creek Cemetery.
Due to Covid-19, the family would like to ask all attendees to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service. Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
