Tommy Nelson

Tommy Nelson, 57, of Hilliard, FL passed away Monday, July 26 in Jacksonville, FL following a lengthy illness.  He was born September 3, 1963 in Folkston, GA to the late Leon Adel Nelson and Janie Irene Carver Nelson.  He was a member of First Avenue Baptist Church.

He is survived by a sister:  Penny Stephanie Nelson; an uncle:  Bobby Carver; 4-aunts:  Catherine Carver, Connie Carver, Bonnie Cooper and Hazel Barker; 2-nieces and 1- nephew.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half sister:  Donna Lee Tatlock and his grandparents:  Zack and Annie Nelson and Jessie and Mary Carver.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, July 30 at 10:30 AM in Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, FL with Pastor Hal McIntosh officiating.
