Vernon Eugene Pottenger

Vernon Eugene Pottenger, 72, of Hilliard, FL passed away June 2, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL.  He was born August 18, 1950 in Fairfield, Ohio to the late Ralph Pottenger and JoAnne Pickering Pottenger.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years:  Janella T. Pottenger; 2-children:  Kimberly Gilliam and Shari (Ronald) Sikes; a sister:  Kathy (Rod) Evans; 4-grandchildren and 10-great grandchildren.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
