Virgil Howell

Virgil Raymond Howell, 65, of Folkston, GA passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. He was born on May 21, 1956 to the late Lewis Joseph Howell and Mildred Howell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Robert Howell, Charles Howell and James Ray Howell.

He is survived by his 5 children; James Hughes, MaryAnn (Scott) Griffin, Cary Howell, Virginia (James) Swain and Osie Clairday, 5 siblings; Osie Price, J.C. (Rina) Howell, Mary K. (Bobby) Pennington, Margaret Padgett and Floyd (Marcia) Howell, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A service will be held on Thurday, March 17, 2022 at 11:00am at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Homeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home.
