Woodie Rogers West, 78, of Hilliard, FL passed away at his home February 17, 2024. He was born in Knoxville, TN to the late John West and Belva Hurst West. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was honorably discharged November 26, 1969. He was a car hauler by trade and a member of the Teamsters Local 512.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Belva West; a daughter: Angela West; 2-sisters: Wanda Gail West and Darlene West and 2-brothers: William “Buster” West and Richard West.
Woodie is survived by his wife of 46 years: Patsy Reed West; his son: Woody (Erin) West; a step-son: Michael Bryant; a step-daughter: Tashia (Robby) Davis; a brother: Johnny “Buddy” (Pat) West; and 2-sisters: Teresa West Bahler and Francie West; a sister-in-law: Chris West; grandchildren: Gage West, Parker West, Kristina (Ken) Douglas, Robert (Kellie) Davis, Emily (Chris) Hammond, Sarah Jane Bryant and Montgomery Bryant; great grandchildren: Kaden May, Arabella Douglas, Avrie Davis and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
